Montford’s Nullius in Verba … discussion continues

In my recent post on Andrew Montford’s Nullius in Verba, I had written:

If you are new to the “climate wars” (as I still consider myself to be, even after more than two years on the battlefield), Montford’s chronology provides considerable context and background which, although specific to the [UK's Royal Society], is echoed in the pre- (and post-) Climategate activities of other high profile and supposedly “independent” organizations.

Bernie Lewin, whose writings I’ve always found to be extremely thorough and very thoughtful, has posted Part 1 of his discussion and review of Montford’s work, in which he explores additional context and background.

Well worth a read – as, of course, is Montford’s essay which is available here.
